Aider continues to grow and strengthens its People and Culture service area through the acquisition of the HR company MyPeople. The objective is to become Norways most attractive professional environment within HR services and organisational development.
– Our goal is to contribute to a better working life, and MyPeople has specialised in one of the HR services we aim to further develop. This is a perfect match, says Karina Strandrak Belseth, Head of People and Culture at Aider.
MyPeople was established in 2020 and has in just a few years grown to seven employees and a turnover of nearly 10 million kroner. The company delivers services within HR and HR as a Service, leadership and team development as well as HR systems. The acquisition of MyPeople strengthens Aiders ability to deliver flexible HR solutions to small and medium sized businesses that require professional support but may not need a full HR position.
Many leaders experience that HR ends up at the bottom of the priority list. The result is often that the CEO or CFO has to manage HR tasks on top of an already busy workday. With HR as a Service, we can offer companies exactly what they need, no more and no less, says Jeanette Bergheim, founder and Managing Director at MyPeople.
MyPeople has for several years provided HR support to businesses in various growth phases, from downsizing and business transfers to structuring routines and internal culture. Bergheim points out that professional HR is crucial for attracting and retaining talent, regardless of the size of the company.
– You are competing for the same people as the large companies. You must therefore have HR and culture in place, and it cannot be done as an afterthought.
Through the merger with Aider, MyPeople will gain access to a larger client portfolio and a broader professional environment within recruitment, organisational development, HR for hire and leadership development.
The merger provides Aider with even stronger capacity to deliver comprehensive HR solutions, from operational support to strategic development.
– We are building a diverse and experienced team, consisting of juniors, seniors and now also a strong middle layer of competence. This gives us a unique foundation for further growth, says Belseth.
The acquisition is also part of Aiders long term strategy to support its clients in all phases, both in Norway and internationally. According to Bergheim, more and more Norwegian companies are looking abroad, and many are acquiring foreign owners.
– This creates a need for internationally adapted HR and structured growth. We can assist with everything from company establishment to scaling and HR strategy in new markets, she says.
With MyPeople on board, Aider is gearing up for further growth, both professionally and geographically.
We aim to be the preferred competence environment for companies that take HR seriously. By combining flexible HR services with advisory, technology and growth expertise, we can help improve working life both within and beyond Norways borders, concludes Belseth.
