Aider strengthens its focus on HR advisory and organisational development through a strategic merger with Impaktor. After nearly 10 years of delivering consultancy services within leadership development, employee development and change management, the well established advisory firm is now becoming part of Aiders growing People & Culture division.
– We complement each other in every way, says Eivind Garshol, Managing Director and Partner at Impaktor.
Although the four founders of Impaktor had no initial plans to sell, conversations with Aider changed their perspective.
– With a small team, there are limits to the impact you can make. We will now be more than 30 HR advisors, which gives us the ability to scale and develop even stronger services, says Garshol.
He highlights that collaboration with professional environments outside their core area enables both professional growth and better solutions for clients – and that Aiders philosophy of "developing people first" was a decisive factor in the decision.
Impaktor brings more than 100 years of combined experience in leadership development, employee development, organisational development and change management. At the same time, Aider gains access to methodology and expertise related to public tender processes – an area where demand is increasing.
– Aider has impressed us with its people-focused approach to business development. It is rare to see a competence house, with origins in accounting, engage so holistically in HR and culture, says Garshol.
Karina Belseth, Head of People and Culture at Aider, is highly positive about the integration:
I have followed Impaktor for a long time and admired their work. We are not only gaining new resources, but also senior expertise, a proven toolbox and strong references from both the public and private sectors
She highlights that clients will now gain access to:
• A larger team of advisers with specialised expertise in HR and change management
• A broader range of services within organisational development and leadership programmes
• Increased capacity to manage larger projects and tender processes
Next phase begins: A leading force in HR and culture
With the merger, the objective is clear: Aider will become a leading player in HR, culture and organisational development in Norway.
Now we are consolidating our expertise, aligning our ambitions and moving full speed ahead. Our goal is to support leaders and organisations in succeeding through improved collaboration, stronger culture and clearer leadership, Belseth concludes.
