Aider opens new office in Halden: Strengthening its position in Østfold

Aider establishes a presence in Halden and opens its fifth office in the Østfold region in less than two years. – We have experienced strong growth in Østfold, and the timing is now right to invest in Halden, says Robin Olsen, Regional Director for Aider Østfold.


With existing offices in Sarpsborg, Fredrikstad, Moss and Rakkestad, Aider now has nearly 70 employees in the region – and continues to grow. The goal is clear: Aider Halden will become a key player in accounting, payroll, advisory and sustainability services for the local business community.


Establishing in Halden – a natural part of the growth strategy


– Halden has always been on the map. We are now ready to build a strong local team, just as we did in Sarpsborg, says Olsen.


Several colleagues from the existing Østfold organisation will join the initiative, and Olsen is confident that the office will grow quickly:


We aim to reach a double digit number of employees in Halden in the near future, and we know that many skilled professionals with ties to the city are looking for exciting local opportunities.

As a Halden native himself, Olsen highlights the citys industrial traditions and its focus on technology and innovation as key reasons for the establishment.


– Halden has a strong business community and a close collaboration with Østfold University College, making it the perfect base for a forward looking competence house like Aider.
