Aider strengthens its position in the North: Three accounting firms merge into one in Bodø

The competence house Aider is experiencing strong growth in Northern Norway and has recently acquired two accounting firms in Bodø: Breiland Økonomi AS and Thor Consulting Bodø AS. The three companies will now be brought together under one roof, forming Bodøs largest competence environment within accounting, finance and advisory services.

Two acquisitions in two months – now resources are united


With the acquisition of two strong and well established players in the Bodø region, Aider is taking a proactive approach to becoming the citys preferred financial partner.

A new era for advisory services and accounting in Bodø


Kristian Hals, Managing Director at Thor Consulting, states that the acquisition enables them to take on larger and more numerous assignments than before.


– We have delivered strong results since our establishment in 2022, but we have lacked capacity. We can now draw on the expertise of more than 1 000 Aider employees nationwide. This means that moving forward we will say yes to significantly more, says Hals.


Larger professional environment, more opportunities


An important objective of the merger is to create an attractive workplace in the centre of Bodø. Aider will now have more than 20 employees in the city, and the combination of local relationships and national resources provides fertile ground for growth and development.
