Ascender acquires Standout AS – strengthening its focus on Western Norway

Recruitment company Ascender AS has acquired Bergen based Standout AS. The acquisition marks an important step in Ascenders strategy to strengthen its position in the recruitment market in Western Norway.

Ascender expands its footprint with the acquisition of Standout AS, a company with ten years of experience in recruitment and interim management and a strong presence in Bergen and the surrounding area. Western Norway is a growing market, and Ascender is now further reinforcing its commitment to the region.

Over the years, Standout AS has supported clients across the country, with Bergen as its main base. The company will now become an integrated part of Ascender, and former Managing Director, Stian Borgenhaug, will be responsible for leading Ascenders continued growth in Western Norway.
