Aider teams up with Axera Business Management, further strengthening its focus on industry specific solutions

For more than 14 years, Axera Business Management AS has provided accounting and business management services for the Norwegian high end market. The firm is now becoming part of the Aider competence house. – We have finance and real estate as a defined strategic priority, and we are now bringing on board some of the most skilled professionals in this sector, says Kim Are Dønland, partner at Aider.

Specialised expertise

Oslo based Axera Business Management AS, which currently consists of 12 employees, has carved out its own niche since its establishment in 2011. Its clients mainly consist of private investment companies, family offices, funds, and real estate companies.

– This landscape involves a number of specialised challenges, such as VAT regulations relating to property, tax and wealth planning, structuring capital changes, and mergers and demergers. We now look forward to bringing this specialised competence into Aider, says Tonje Ulltveit Moe, Managing Director of Axera Business Management AS.

Greater capacity and reliability

In recent years, Ulltveit Moe and her colleagues have experienced an increasing need for investment, particularly in technology. Ideally, they would have recruited their own development team.

– As part of Aider, we can leverage their in house expertise in areas such as systems and fintech, she explains.

Ulltveit Moe and Axera partner Lise Jahateh also highlight the wider Aider service offering as something they look forward to being able to provide to their own clients.

– All the competence that surrounds and complements what we offer ourselves, such as legal services, will now be far more easily accessible to us. In addition, we will simply be less vulnerable when we become part of a finance and real estate environment consisting of more than 50 highly skilled employees. This means more capacity and greater security for clients, says Ulltveit Moe, with support from Jahateh:

– This merger enables us to focus even more on creating value for our clients. At the same time, we will also be able to offer our employees significantly more. In a larger and fast growing environment, it is easier both to find ones place and to develop professionally.

Creating the products of tomorrow

This philosophy is shared by Dønland at Aider, who also highlights the value of growth. It is not about becoming larger for its own sake, but rather that without growth, people cannot grow either. It is a prerequisite for both personal and professional development, he believes.

– No one should feel that they have hit the ceiling. That is why we will continue to accelerate, even though bringing Axera on board already makes us a significant player within this niche. This is also important for the client, who must not only be supported today but also five years from now. Creating the products of tomorrow requires that we are constantly moving, says Dønland.

Central to the finance initiative are Aider partners Oskar Munthe Dahl and Ole Joachim Jonstang. Both are looking forward to further strengthening the team.
