At Aider I feel prioritized

For over seven years, Are Olimb has been running his training business, Trygghet i Fokus. Since the former firefighter moved his accounting to Aider, he has gained better control than ever before.
“Now I have a much better understanding of how I can actually use my financial reports,” he says.

Through his own limited company, Olimb provides fire safety and HSE courses for, among others, healthcare institutions. A self-proclaimed handyman, he enjoys doing things himself — from issuing invoices to paying bills.

“Aider has helped me with all of this, and after some solid training, I’ve become quite comfortable using Tripletex. Now I can handle the parts I find fun myself, and Aider takes care of the rest,” he adds.

"You can let your guard down"

Olimb is as much a man of order as he is a handyman, with a strong focus on structure and organization.

“That’s why I could never work with a disorganized accountant, and in Aider, I’ve found quite the opposite. My dedicated contact is just like me – always meticulous and true to his word. It works incredibly well,” he says.

Today, Aider handles everything related to accounting. Olimb no longer has to worry about taxes or employer contributions – allowing him to focus entirely on his business.

“They excel at what they do, and that makes my life simple. When you have full confidence that everything is taken care of, you can relax and focus on what you do best. That’s absolutely essential as an entrepreneur,” he concludes.

Full control

At the same time, Olimb has developed a completely new relationship with his accounting — even though he no longer handles it himself. With better insight, he now also has greater control.

“I have full control over how I run my business, and Aider has helped me establish increasingly better and more efficient routines. There’s never a shortage of good advice. For instance, I’ve now started taking out a salary instead of dividends — a change I made on my accountant’s recommendation,” he explains.

When training companies like Olimb’s were hit hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, he also experienced the value of having a skilled accountant on his team.

“It was challenging to see my revenue disappear completely. But Aider was there to help. They advised me, checked whether I qualified for support schemes, and even reduced their fee for a while. Thanks to that, I made it through — and have set new revenue records every year since!”

Always an answer

For someone constantly on the move, accessibility is key. Questions often arise — whether about accounting or the Tripletex system — and it’s reassuring to know there’s always someone ready to respond.

“My contact person is incredible. I can call during weekends or whenever I need to. Just as importantly, there’s never any hesitation — I always get an answer to whatever I’m wondering about. And if something needs fixing, it gets fixed,” he says.

Over time, Olimb has built a strong relationship with his contact at Aider. He knows he’s a relatively small client, yet he never feels that way.

“Quite the opposite. At Aider, I feel like a priority,” he concludes.
