The Sørlandet based accounting firm Styringsgruppen Regnskap, with 21 employees across offices in Kristiansand and Søgne, is now becoming part of Aider.


– The goal is to contribute even more to the business community in Sørlandet, says Managing Director and co founder Jørn Ryen.


Locally rooted accounting partner in growth


Since its establishment in 2012, Styringsgruppen Regnskap has experienced strong organic growth and positioned itself as an important player in the region. When Aider made contact, an acquisition was not part of the plan, but after an inspiring conversation, Ryen and his colleagues saw new opportunities.


We realised that we could not only become part of the industrys development, but actively help shape it. We did not want to miss that, he says.


 


Local presence and national strength


What convinced Styringsgruppen was Aiders philosophy of local autonomy combined with national expertise.


– Our clients will retain their regular contacts and receive the same high quality support as before. The local commitment and proximity to the clients will remain in place, we will simply have more resources available, says Ryen.

The merger also provides new internal opportunities. Styringsgruppen currently consists mainly of senior profiles, and the interaction with young talents at Aiders Kristiansand office will be a valuable combination.

A strategic step for further growth


According to Roar Voll, Business Developer at Aider, the acquisition is strategically important for strengthening the presence in the Agder region.
