Tet and Aider are merging – launch scheduled for this autumn
Today, we have exciting news to share. Tet and Aider are joining forces to form a competence-driven organisation with its main base in Oslo. This will make us an even stronger partner for our clients – and a more competitive challenger in the market. The new Aider will be launched in September.
Preparing for the future
Our top priority – always – is to be a valuable, reliable, and highly competent partner for our clients. Low threshold, high ceiling. Our door is always open. That is who we are, and that is who we will continue to be. To achieve this, we also need the best people. It turns out that Aider has many of them.
Since its establishment in 2019, Aider has demonstrated an impressive ability to attract both young and experienced talent. Quite frankly, they have recruited many skilled professionals we would have liked to bring on board ourselves. As we now need to grow our own team, this partnership is a strong match for us. At the same time, we know that the greatest value is created when talented people work with the best systems.
To continue delivering the best solutions, we must remain at the forefront of system development and technology. This merger supports that ambition. With more space and resources to further develop new technology and top talents, we will simply be an even better partner for our clients.
Moreover, Aider shares our values. Approachability and local engagement have always been part of Tet’s DNA, and that will of course continue. We will remain true to ourselves – while becoming even stronger at creating value from tomorrow’s solutions. And we will challenge the industry leaders more boldly.
Together, we will become one of Norway’s largest accounting and advisory environments, with nine offices across the country: Oslo, Bærum, Rjukan, Grenland, Tønsberg, Kristiansand, and Bergen – as well as Notodden and Mosjøen. We proudly serve clients from (almost) Lindesnes to Nordkapp. Wherever you are located, we aim to be a partner you can rely on
Aider becomes the name, Tet remains the identity
Our new joint company will be named Aider. This means that the Tet name will gradually be phased out. While this is naturally bittersweet, we look forward to setting the course together. However, the new Aider will retain Tet’s visual identity, ensuring that colours and branding remain recognisable to those who know us.
We may be changing our name, but we still intend to stay ahead. The new Aider will be an ambitious company with a clear objective to challenge both the accounting and audit industries. Partly because these sectors can be slow-moving and benefit from a shake-up, but primarily because we believe it will lead to better solutions for our clients. We are genuinely excited about what lies ahead!
