Collegium Økonomi joins Aider: – We want to create better experiences for our customers

Aider strengthens its presence on the west coast as Collegium Økonomi becomes part of the team. They bring along 16 employees: 10 in Bergen and 6 on Sotra. – This is a company we have wanted to collaborate with for a long time, and it’s incredibly exciting that we are finally taking the step, says Elisabeth Eide, Regional Manager for Aider in the West.

or over 15 years, Collegium Økonomi has provided accounting and advisory services to businesses in Bergen and the surrounding areas, and in the local market on Sotra, the company has long been a preferred partner. Now, they look forward to being able to focus even more on their core tasks:

– We are very excited to join a system that can relieve us of the ever-growing pile of side tasks. Our strength as a company has always been to give our customers full attention, whether they have one employee or a thousand. It will be easier now, says Kate Sørheim, CEO of Collegium Økonomi.

Strengthening their advisory role

Until now, Sørheim and the rest of Collegium Økonomi have worked closely with their sister company, Collegium Revisjon. This has given them extensive experience in leveraging expertise from other fields to deliver a more complete service.

– It’s all about creating better experiences for our customers, and by becoming part of Aider, we can offer them even greater breadth and depth. In addition, we look forward to joining an organization that can provide new and exciting opportunities for our employees, she says.

With a full competence house behind them, Sørheim and her colleagues can now accelerate what they enjoy most: providing valuable advice.

– We are in this industry because we find it fun and rewarding to follow people on their own journey. Today’s slightly uncertain entrepreneur can suddenly become tomorrow’s rising star. With freed-up time and easy access to both technology and specialized expertise, we can give people advice that truly helps them along the way.

Room for more

Regional Manager Elisabeth Eide is fully committed to supporting the newest members of the team in their advisory efforts.

– Our core idea is quite simple: when you give talented people resources, support, and room to operate, incredible things happen. We have seen the high quality Collegium Økonomi has delivered over all these years, and now we will strengthen them further with our people, solutions, and structures. We are excited to welcome the team from Collegium on board.

As the 10 new employees now move into Media City in Bergen, the modern offices accommodate over 200 Aider employees. A co-location is also planned for Sotra. But Eide promises there is still room for more:

– Growth is still a goal, and we haven’t completely filled the offices yet.
