Aider+Blå Kors = People first all year round!

At Aider, it has become a tradition to support Blue Cross. It started with Christmas gifts - now we work together all year round.

A collaboration that matters

When we first got in touch with Blue Cross, we wanted to collect Christmas presents. The response we received was clear: Gifts are nice, but financial support hits the needs better and provides more flexibility to help where it's needed most. That's why we're raising money - and in December, the fundraising campaign is getting extra attention.

But the collaboration doesn't stop when the Christmas lights are packed away. Throughout the year, we work together to reach those who are excluded. Those who are struggling financially, those who lack a sense of belonging, and those who need a place to be seen.

Blue Cross gives hope

The Blue Cross is present all over the country, offering services for people in vulnerable life situations - from street cafés to families with children who need hot meals and safe communities.

The Blue Cross works with childhood, addiction and inclusion. These are major areas in our society, and in order to achieve everything the Blue Cross wants and needs, they need good allies. This is where we at Aider come in!

The needs are great and growing. When we at Aider say people first, it also applies to those we do not meet in everyday life.

In addition, Aider employees gain insight into topics and life situations that may be unfamiliar to many. This is engaging, and it also builds pride to know that our employer is helping to solve some of the major social challenges in our country.

Small means, great value

The collaboration takes shape in several ways:

Volunteering - courses in everyday economics

Aider is holding a course! The course participants are part of the Blue Cross Step by Step program, which supports people who want to make positive changes in their lives and who are in demanding situations related to substance abuse, crime and mental health. The course has received a great response, and we are looking at the possibility of expanding from Oslo to more locations.

Engagement and fundraising at Christmas

Blue Cross meets many people who are not looking forward to Christmas. Difficult finances, family circumstances and challenges with alcohol can make the holiday season painful. The Blue Cross has offers and support throughout the year - also during the holidays. Aider provides financial support both through fundraising from employees and through the Group. This support is important - it enables Blå Kors to help more people.

Pledge scheme

Blue Cross gets an Oslo pledge! Through the Oslo office, pledge income is donated to the Blue Cross.

The financial support is used to develop the services and enables Blå Kors to reach more people with what they need. Thank you very much for your gift!

Our pledges may be a small amount - but they make a difference. Our employees have also been able to contribute directly, for example in the Gatenært initiative in Oslo, where Aidere has distributed food to people in a difficult life situation. It makes a strong impression - and gives meaning.

- It was touching to see the gratitude in the eyes of those I met. And what an effort Blue Cross puts in - it really inspires!
- Julie Andresen, Manager at Aider

-"Weat Blue Cross are incredibly grateful for the collaboration with Aider, which both develops, excites and makes a real difference for those Blue Cross exists for. We look forward to the continuation!" says Kathrine Toppe, Marketing Advisor at Blå Kors and Relationship Manager
